UK&I 2022

In September of 2022, over the course of 2 days, we met virtually with 14 writers – residents of England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales – to crack open, redefine and refine their 13 projects. 

2022 UK&I Zoom Lab

Our heroic partners at Untamed Stories brought some of the industry’s best writers and producers to mentor this talented cohort, including Farhala Bhula (Senior Commissioning Editor at Film4), Cheryl Dunye (Writer/Director/Actress, The Watermelon Woman), and Elizabeth Karlsen (Producer, Carol). The writers will continue to work on revisions and receive five months of ongoing development and career support from The Writers Lab team, Untamed Stories, generous mentors, and industry execs.
