Lab Intensives
The Writers Lab offers rigorous multi-day programs designed to support women and nonbinary screenwriters over 40. We select writers based on a thoughtful submissions process, seeking excellent screencraft from a diverse group. How Our Labs Work
The Writers Lab Intensives are immersive, mentor-driven programs that combine focused script development with professional preparation. Up to 12 screenwriters are invited with scripts that are ideal for agents, managers, executives, producers and directors seeking market-ready projects.
During each Intensive, writers participate in one-on-one mentorship, peer workshops, panel discussions, and group conversations designed to strengthen both craft and process. Interactions are designed to prompt creative exploration; to cultivate first-rate cinematic stories; to ready the projects for market; to build professional connections; and to accelerate industry entry. In the months following the intensive, participants continue to receive guidance and support as they move their projects forward and engage with the industry.
